FOUNDERS STORY
Bondi Vite was founded by former NSW Waratah, Damien Fitzpatrick in 2019.
Damien’s playing career was filled with challenges, suffering three consecutive ACL injuries in his early 20s that kept him out of the game for more than three years.
A defect in his left knee was eventually uncovered and his career was at a crossroads.
Facing the prospect of retirement, Damien underwent a brutal surgery to re-align his leg that allowed him to return to play.
Looking for alternatives to anti-inflammatories, Damien turned to fish oil and credits it with prolonging his career as he dealt with ongoing knee pain.
Damien wanted to bring the attitudes he’d seen in high-performance sport to the broader market and developed a range of products to specifically to support physical activity.
This is how Bondi Vite came to be.
